Cardioid.

The parametric equations of the cardioid can be given by

x=acost(1cost),y=asint(1cost)x = a \cos t \left(1-\cos t \right), \, y = a \sin t \left(1-\cos t \right)

In polar coordinates the equation of a cardioid is given by

r=a(1cosθ)r=a \left(1-\cos \theta \right)
