The parametric equations of the logarithmic spiral can be given by

x=aebcost,y=aebsintx = a e^b \cos t, \, y= a e^b \sin t

In polar coordinates the equation of a logarithmic spiral with parameter aa and center/centre (0,0)\left(0,\,0\right) is given by

r=aebθr=ae^{b \theta}
